All brands. Knobbies required.
The bike must contain fuel for minimum 200 km.

All about the Finnskogen Gravel Event – “grenseløst grusmisbruk” 2020.

NOTE! Due to corona virus epidemic the event might be postponed to June or August.

Perfect for gravel addicts with bikes that can do minimum 200 km before fuel!
3 days of touring in the heart of Gravel-land on the border of Sweden and Norway.
We arrange day trips from Thursday to Saturday.
Optional Off-road training Thursday.
The tours will be in both Sweden and Norway (Värmland and Hedmark counties).

We split in groups based on experience and riding skills. Main difference between groups will be speed.

About the Ladies event:
Same number of days, same possibility to do a training course, same cabins, restaurant etc etc.
The main difference is that your event will introduce gravel life in a gentle way.
There will be possible to learn a lot about riding techniques, maintainance of your bike and other useful things regarding the motorcycle life on gravel roads.
We present this event in cooperation with Women’s International Motorcycle Association (WIMA).

All brands are very welcome, and we strongly recommend knobbie tires.
No street tires!
Note: the easiest routes on Ladies Event are doable on street tires and similar.

All tours will be lead by experienced guides from e.g. Rush Hour MC and GS Meeting Norway.

Mattila, 68597 Östmark, Sweden
Tours will be in Hedmark and Värmland.

Program 2020:

First arrival time is 20th of May from 15:00.
Latest time for arrival is 23:00.
No other official program or meals this day/evening.
Restaurant will be open for fast food, snacks, drink etc.
Training and competition track open at Mattila.

Thursday 21st of May:
Breakfast at Mattila or private from 07.30
Tours 09.30 – 17.00
Off-road training 09.30 – 17.00 (limited spots on training course)
Training course includes 2-3 hrs tour
Dinner at Mattila or private from 18.30
Social mingle and lecture fram 20.00

Friday 22nd of May:

Approximately 220-250 per day. 2 half-day tours each day.
Offroad training tour app. 90 kilometers

You’d better have some experience on gravel to join this party!
Note! The tours will not include hardcore offroad, but there will be several roads/trails that claims some technical skills.

Prices:

NEW: No payment before March 2020. You pay total amount in March 2020. You can cancel your place up to 1st of May 2020. You get your money back, except 1000 NOK by cancellation befor 1st of May. No refund after this date.
For ladies event: Total payment in April. Cancellation deadline 1 st of June.

You arrive Wednesday evening, no meals on arrival day, but bar is open (fast food, snacks etc.)

You choose either camping OR cabin.
You choose either training OR touring and training.
You choose either to make your own food OR get all meals served every day.

Tour package:
Thu, Fri and Sat, 3 x amazing tours = 1900 NOK
Includes rescue service (new 2020)
Rescue service = we pick up your bike from wherever you have a bike problem on our routes. The bike will be brought back to campus free of charge.

Training and tour package:
Off-road training Thursday + 2 x stunning tours = 2450 NOK
Includes rescue service (new 2020)

Meal package:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Thu, Fri, Sat + breakfast Sun = 1600 NOK

Camping package:

Note! Restrooms with showers are available for tent and campers

Cabin package:
Bed in cabin Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat = 1750 NOK
